Yes, I have to admit. I have to admit that I didn't like the tragic aspects of the story. Not quite to my taste. But Remittance Girl is right about self-censorship. Hear, hear!

I did indeed get your message, and good stuff is on it's way to you.
As for the story, I have received very strong reactions to it from both sides of the spectrum. However, there is no other way for this story to go. It's one of those strange things. I could not write it when I was trying to give it a happy ending, no matter how I tried, but when I gave it a tragic ending, it flowed like water.
